APPLY FOR THE AFRIMUN 2nd EDITION CONFERENCE (VIRTUAL) DECEMBER

The African Youth Caucus-WORLDMUN in partnership with Victoria University present the 2nd edition of the Africa Model United Nations conference which will be held virtually under the theme 'Positioning African Youth as excellent leaders for the 21st century and beyond.' The conference will be an opportunity for African youth to expand their knowledge of international institutions, sustainable development goals, enhance public speaking skills and develop their skills through the use of the most modern technologies.

The following committees will be simulated virtually at this conference ; World Health Organisation, Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and African Union. Committee topics are; Strengthening African Health Care Systems in light of the COVID 19 Pandemic, Improving access to education for refugees and Winning the Fight against Corruption in Africa respectively. `

Panel discussions will be held at Victoria University and streamed live. First Diplomatic Panel discussion will be focused on 'Engaging African Youth in the Fight against Corruption in Africa' while the Second Diplomatic Panel discussion will focus on 'The role of digital diplomacy in the development of Africa'

Early Bird registration runs from October 1st 2020 to October 31st 2020.Registration fees for this period for National Delegates are 20,000 Ug shs and $15 for International Delegates. Late Registration runs from November 1st 2020 to December 5th 2020 . Registration Fees for this period for National Delegates are 25,000 Ug shs and $ 20 for International Delegates.
